Override destinations

As material is mined from an activity area, its destination is constrained by the material flow diagram (configured in XECUTE Config) and determined from optimisations applied by Product Optimiser (PO). PO will attempt to send the material to destinations to satisfy any objectives. Destinations can be overridden for single activity areas from the 3D Scene or from multiple activity areas when using the Activity Areas tab.

To Assign Destinations from the 3D Scene:

To open the Assign Destinations panel from the Activity Areas tab:

  1. Select one or more activity areas.
  2. Right-click to open the context menu and click Assign Destinations.

To override the PO destinations in the Assign Destinations window:

  1. (Optional) Select the Show all materials for pit <pit name> check box to show all materials. This option allows you to create material destination rules that will be applied should the activity area change shape or grade (that is, grade control shape) in the future.
  2. For each material to assign a destination, click its associated green + icon.
  3. Set the Destination from the list of available destinations. The list is populated based on the Material Flow configuration in XECUTE Config.
  4. If the override destination is a staged stockpile the Pile column will list the available piles to send the material to.
  5. Set the allocation % to control the percentage of material to send to the override destination. It does not have to be 100%, and any remaining quantity will be managed by PO.
  6. Click the Assign button to save the assignments.
