Override destinations
As material is mined from an activity area, its destination is constrained by the material flow diagram (configured in XECUTE Config) and determined from optimisations applied by Product Optimiser (PO). PO will attempt to send the material to destinations to satisfy any objectives. Destinations can be overridden for single activity areas from the 3D Scene or from multiple activity areas when using the Activity Areas tab.
To Assign Destinations from the 3D Scene:
- Select an activity area in the scene:
- Right-click to open the radial menu.
- Click the Assign Destinations icon
.
OR
- Select an activity area in the scene:
- Click the Properties > Destinations icon for the area.
To open the Assign Destinations panel from the Activity Areas tab:
- Select one or more activity areas.
- Right-click to open the context menu and click Assign Destinations.
Destination Override panel
To override the PO destinations in the Assign Destinations window:
- (Optional) Select the Show all materials for pit <pit name> check box to show all materials. This option allows you to create material destination rules that will be applied should the activity area change shape or grade (that is, grade control shape) in the future.
- For each material to assign a destination, click its associated green + icon.
- Set the Destination from the list of available destinations. The list is populated based on the Material Flow configuration in XECUTE Config.
- If the override destination is a staged stockpile the Pile column will list the available piles to send the material to.
- Set the allocation % to control the percentage of material to send to the override destination. It does not have to be 100%, and any remaining quantity will be managed by PO.
- Click the Assign button to save the assignments.
Destination override considerations
- Selecting multiple activity areas for destination overrides is only possible if the activity areas are in the same pit.
- If the selected activity areas already have different destinations assigned there will be a warning and the new destinations will replace the existing destinations.
- All destination override rules will be shown, including materials that no longer exist in the activity area (due to edits to the area shape or grade control).
